Blog Entry 4: Languages
My first language is Chinese, I also can speak English too. I will be able to learn Japanese in my free times. I'm interested because Taiwan is close to Japan, It's only there hours to fly. Some culture are similar such as bow I can understand some Japanese etiquette. Many years ago Japan once ruled Taiwan. we usually have same word and traditional habits. First, when the world is republic . Learning another languages is very important and helpful in your life. And I want to be able to make friends. I also want to understand Japanese proverbs more deeply. However, I know that a lot of Japanese can speak English, but they are very shy. When I visited to Tokyo and go store to buy souvenir for my family, the clerk speak Japanese before I tell them I can't understand Japanese. The clerk continued to speak , I am confused. Finally, I think use same languages to talk is very easy to understand. I should study hard before I travel to Japan.

Some Japanese students mentioned they want to learn Chinese...maybe you can do some sort of language exchange!

Thank you for coming to Japan. I'm glad. You are advantageous. Japanese is using the same Chinese characters with China. But a little different. After, you only learn the Hiragana and Katakana. It's easy.
